1. Who we are

9jaTech is an online marketplace that connects clients with independent freelancers offering technology, design, marketing and related digital services in Nigeria.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when registering and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account. Accounts must be verified by email before use.

3. Using the platform

• Clients may post projects, review proposals, and engage freelancers.
• Freelancers may create profiles, submit proposals, and deliver work.
• All users agree to communicate respectfully and honestly.

4. Payments and escrow

Project funds may be held in escrow and released to the freelancer upon your approval of delivered work. A service fee may apply to completed contracts. You agree not to move payments off-platform to circumvent these protections.

5. Prohibited conduct

You agree not to post unlawful content, misrepresent your identity or skills, harass others, or use the platform for fraudulent purposes. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.

6. Disputes

If a disagreement arises between a client and freelancer, our support team may mediate. Where escrow is used, funds remain held until the dispute is resolved.

7. Limitation of liability

9jaTech provides the platform "as is" and is not a party to the contracts formed between clients and freelancers. We are not liable for the quality, legality or outcome of any engagement.

8. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
